I have run for as long as I can remember, I’m not traditionally the right build for it and have never really thought of running as fun. Yet I love it. Running is one of those things that you just have to bite the biller, get out there and do, because afterwards you have this great feeling of accomplishment and confidence that you can do anything. It doesn’t whether you are starting out, or are a sub-three hour marathoner; we’re all doing it for the same reason, to feel great!

These training tips are here to help you all. The Indigenous Marathon Project has grown into something incredible and has inspired many Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to start taking care of their bodies and their spirit through running.
