Story

Hi guys, you know me by now...always looking how I can use my passion for running to create change. Well, this year I am participating in the The Canberra Times Marathon, 50km Ultra on the 11th of April to raise crucial funds for Rob de Castella's Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF).

An organisation very close to my heart.

The IMF uses running to provide life-changing pathways and opportunities to Indigenous Australians, and create inspirational Indigenous role models. One of IMF's four key programs is the Indigenous Marathon Project (IMP) which annually selects a group of 12 young Indigenous Australians aged 18-30 and trains them to run in the New York City Marathon - with just six months of training.

This opportunity gives them the courage to unearth their own sense of self-worth and pride by taking on the biggest marathon in the world. Participants also complete a compulsory Certificate IV in Community Recreation, Level 1 Recreational Running Accreditation, First-Aid and CPR qualifications to educate, encourage and motivate their community on the benefits of living an active and healthy lifestyle.

I would soooo aprreciate your support, and by doing so support this great cause.

Thanks a ton!
